Day No.2 of new student orientation found me wearing what I would consider the most appropriate bow tie for our school at the moment. The bow, part of a generous donation from ties.com, is called "Are we there yet?" and features cars and trailers stuck in traffic. It's whimsical design masks a deeper meaning for me, as my school will eventually be the middle school where our three sons attend. I'd like to think our school is closer to "there" than we've ever been. I'm sleepy, but excited about the school year. =)
