Day 278

Today our scholars were able to celebrate the Global Day of Play a day early by participating in the Cardboard Arcade Challenge at our school. Check out the video below to see some of the games the kiddos created.

Day 179

Today the clan and I got to spend some quality time at the beach. Yup, I was still representing the cause even while I was there, although I did decide to preserve the fabric when I took a dip in the very refreshing water.

Day 174

Ah, vacation feels good. Today started out with a great WOD that resembled what I'm to experience at Spartan next month. I then got to spend some time with the boys and eventually paid mom a surprise visit at the salon. Good times. Oh, did I mention I've already gotten calls from incoming students asking about their homework assignment? Lovely.

Day 139

Sunny mornings that start off at 54 degrees are among my favorites, despite the sun-in-my-eyes face I'm making. Today's bow came via the good folks over at Jean & James. I love a great diamond point cotton bow. Don't you?

Day 37

Eight more days until I turn the page on another chapter of my life. What will the double triple hold for me? I can't wait to find out.

This weekend I had the chance to start watching (had to cut out toward the end - that's some lettuce for another salad) a great movie that I recommend to every father out there. Courageous. Check it out.

Today's colorful pixel bow tie comes by way of Jean and James. I can't think of a better way to start off the work week with something colorful to remind me how awesome it is to work at this profession (not that I often need reminders, of course). =) Have a great week, friends!

Day 23

This is going to be a great week, kids. Today we begin a new unit of study on Geometry starting with a bit of what I hope will be a better understanding of what area is. I hope Gallon Guy won't be too upset he's being tossed into the cumulative review part of class. For now, he gets to chill on my teacher cart.

Today's 100% cotton bow tie comes by way of my new friends (I'll never get tired of saying that btw) over at Jean & James. I hope you'll agree that this is a super cool tie and I'm glad I get to pair it with the warmest sweater in my closet.
