Year 2, Week 22 (Days 515-521)

Aside from the vintage bows I'm featuring this week, there's also an awesome cotton blend featuring a nifty guitar print from Xoelle that I think is super rad. You might recognize the Spartan bow tie I hand crafted from a Spartan t-shirt from a previous post. Lucas got a chance to earn it by completing his first Jr. Spartan Race over the weekend. Yay for 4 year olds overcoming obstacles! 

Day 200

I'm still excited about having completed my first Spartan race last weekend. I'm so hyped I decided to use the t-shirt that I earned upon completion (since I don't wear t-shirts much anymore) to construct this bow tie. My favorite part of this bow is the series of little spartan logos that were on the back of the t-shirt and now prominently in the middle of the bow with a nice stitch right down the middle. I think I'm getting this sewing thing down! Tomorrow I'll share a bow I created using part of a pair of pants I had converted to shorts. Stay tuned!
