Today, by God's grace, I turn 33 years old. As I get older and reflect on the little amount of time we have stewardship over on this earth I find myself meditating heavily on the legacy I will leave behind for my children, and for my children's children. Lately my thoughts have taken me to considering the types of personalities we celebrate, they sort of accolades we bestow on complete strangers and what examples we set before our children. Anyone can have children, but it takes a truly unique perspective to parent a child. I urge you, reader - teacher or parent - to think critically (with the goal of evaluating, not judging) of what and who you esteem in light of the legacy you wish to leave for your children.
Today's bow comes by way of ties.com and features a set of heart-shaped candy on lovely black silk. Happy Valentine's Day!
