I forced myself to run my 5-mile route after work yesterday and although it didn't help my head cold, I can feel my legs getting stronger. I usually take to the streets once Spring arrives and I'm content with my 10 minute/mile pace. Afterall, the race isn't given to the swift, but to those who endure. The best part of my evening, however, came in two parts. The first was watching our two-year old singing to the muppet movie. Afterward he turns to me and asks, "Papi, are you a man? Are you a muppet?" Good times. Later in the evening I pushed myself to finish reading the Hunger Games. Wow, what a good read. I'm looking forward to diving into the next two books. But first I need a nap.
Today's bow was gifted to me by the good folks at ties.com. It features a colorful array of sailboats on a warm yellow silk. I wish I had the time to post larger pictures - you'd find I was a bit daring today to break out my seersuckers even though we might not hit 55 degrees in NYC today. Good times, indeed.
