I spent the day getting reacquainted with some lesson plans I get to write as part of a shared planning initiative for my network of charter schools. The idea is that the units I plan, after an appropriate amount of feedback cycles, will be disseminated to all of our middle schools, making the workload lighter for others who will now have some extra time to differentiate and modify the plans I develop. On the flip side, once I'm done lesson planning, I'll have some free time to look over and customize some of the units that are being thoughtfully planned by other dedicated math nerds teachers. Sounds exciting doesn't it? Maybe if I get done with a couple of plans tonight I'll treat myself to an evening run. I need to clear my head!
Today's amazing bow tie of the day - and I say amazing because of the prominent circles polkadots - was gifted by the generous folks at ties.com. Check out their cool stuff here.
