Have I mentioned how inundated I am with lesson plans right now? I have mixed emotions, no doubt. I'm happy to finally be at a place in my career where I'm planning lessons at the unit level, and so far in advance to boot (I'm already planning for Unit 5 and 6 of this year), but I'm already a bit antsy about the new class of scholars joining us this year. How will they respond to the reputation of their predecessors? Will they rise to the expectations we set out for them? Will I run out of bow ties to wear???
