Day 107

Is it over already? Yup - it's back to work and back to prepping for the big test. That's right - the state exam is just 8 school days away.

Today's bow was handcrafted by yours truly during my time away from the classroom on a day I managed to somehow muster up enough energy to make a lot of six different bow ties. It's a big deal for me considering I'm just starting out at this designer thing and it used to take me four hours just to make one! I'm especially proud of this number as it is my first take on a double-sided bow. One side features a gray paisley on a black cotton fabric and the other has an array of circles and ovals that may appear flowery. I like how the colors play off each other, don't you?

Speaking of my growing collection of handmade bows - I decided to open up my own etsy shop to sell these one-of-a-kind bows that I've been making for this campaign. I need to generate some funds to keep this campaign fresh and some of my friends/family have been wanting a different kind of access to my new hobby so here's the link in case you're interested or know someone who might be: http://www.etsy.com/shop/bowtiesbyvasquez?ref=ss_profile . You can check back regularly as I'll be adding more of my collection in the coming days.
