Ah, how lovely the weather is in NYC these days. It was too nice of an evening not to run yesterday so after my dental appointment I decided to log a five-mile run. Sure, my legs are feeling it this morning, but boy does it feel good knowing that I'm ahead of schedule for my Spring/Summer workout regimen.
On to bow ties. One of the perks of rocking bows is that you're allowed to liberty to flaunt novelty prints in ways that may otherwise seem less than professional were they found in the form of a traditional necktie. I found this print of a super hero at our local fabic store and decided to make a bow tie. Yup, another Vasquez original, folks! I especially like the fact that the word superhero makes an appearance in the center of the bow, and that there's a grid background on one side (I use a graphing notebook when I teach). Good times.
