Day 277

Check out this snazzy running jersey I got to design for our staff this year. A few of us on staff have decided  to set aside one afternoon each week to run. Some of us run to the Williamsburg Bridge. Some of us run across it. Some of us even run across it and keep on running until we get home. I like running to the bridge, across it, and then back all the way until I get home. 9.5 miles. It's quite a fun way to end the week. Today I just ran to the bridge and then home. It was about 6.5 miles. Oh yeah, it rained on me all the way back. It's the third time this week it's rained during a run. Perhaps it's another character lesson moment - another obstacle to overcome. Some obstacles I purchase - like my new 45lb kettlebell - or that elevation mask you may have seen on a previous post. I can't control when it rains, though. The same is true, I guess, in life. There are some self-imposed obstacles I have to overcome, just as there are those in which I can never control.

Today's bow was a purchase I made from a Facconable outlet.

  1. Very relatable, the part about overcoming obstacles. Thank you!
